January Birth Flowers Botanical Illustration, Carnation and Snowdrops

This is a fine art print of my original color-pencil drawing of January in my birth-month floral series. A carnation accompanied by snowdrops represents the flora that blooms throughout the month!

Each print is 8x10 inches matted in 11x14 board, stamped, signed and hand-packed.

I chose pink for this carnation because I liked to picture amongst the gray melting snow, a bright pink flower brings some color to a chilly environment that can come with January. I imagined the snowdrops as actual melting snow and dripping from the carnation as I drew this.
